Border Logic

Europe's borders are full of enclaves, exclaves, divided towns, and lines that only make sense if you were at the negotiating table in 1659. The rest of us have to dig up the treaty, war, or royal land swap behind them. Belgium and the Netherlands share a town where the border runs through houses and cafés, Spain has a town completely surrounded by France, and Italy has a village that sits inside Switzerland. If a country has territory completely surrounded by another country, a border runs through someone's living room, or a technicality has survived for centuries, it belongs here.
